CEPro.com and D-Tools to Demo New Online Product Database at EHX
ORLANDO, Fla. – March 8, 2007 – CEPro.com, the leading Web publication for custom electronics installers and dealers, and D-Tools, Inc., the worldwide leader in system integration software, today have announced a new online product database for custom electronics dealers and installers.
Combining the 50,000 product SKUs available in D-Tools' award-winning System Integrator Software (Gold winner of a 2006 CE Pro High Impact Product Award) with the power of CEPro.com, the new online product database will give dealers and installers access to specs, images, reviews and more for the products crucial to their systems installations. The product database will be open for testing and feedback to attendees of this week's Electronic House Expo (EHX) in Orlando, Fla. (Mar. 8-10).
"We've asked dealers and installers what would make their jobs easier, and overwhelmingly, it's an easy-to-use repository of product information," says Jason Unger, Website Publisher, CEPro.com. "D-Tools offers an immense amount of product specs, and we're excited to be working with them to bring it to the CEPro.com audience."
"We're proud to partner with CEPro.com to provide the custom electronic community with product data that will help them increase their productivity and efficiency," said Adam Stone, president of D-Tools, Inc. "This partnership will help us build on our company goals – to provide system integration companies with the tools and data to help them deliver outstanding value to clients – which ultimately improves their business and profitability."
In addition to listing specs and images for thousands of products, the online database will allow CEPro.com users to add tips, comments and reviews to share with the custom installation community.
The product database will be on display at the EH Publishing booth, where EHX attendees can demo the new tool and enter for a chance to win prizes, including a copy of D-Tools Systems Integrator Standard software. The first 50 attendees who demo the product database will receive a free copy of the "70 Ways to Grow Your Custom Installation Business," a collaborative document with tips from more than 220 custom installers.
