WFX Experiencing, Planning For Explosive Growth in 2006
Framingham, Mass, August 8, 2006 - Worship Facilities Conference and Expo (WFX), the leading event for church facilities and technology teams, is taking off with surging exhibit space sales, keynote and seminar presentation commitments from renowned church leaders. A power-packed promotional program is already building interest and generating significant registrations for the event more than three months before show time, November 8-10 at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, TX. As of today, more than 240 companies have contracted for exhibit space in the second year event, 100 more than 2005. Since May 1 alone, 80+ companies have signed on to exhibit. Event organizer, EH Events, projects the show floor will sell out within weeks, with 275 exhibiting companies filling more than 100,000 gross square feet of space, more than doubling exhibitor participation in the event over 2005. WFX is filled with leading manufacturers, distributors and installers of church audio, video and lighting technologies, plus an array of product and service providers from the broader church facilities planning, design, construction and maintenance realm.
Exhibiting companies include WFX Founding Sponsors: Partners in Church Consulting, Praisebuildings.com, Precept Builders, and QSC; Sustaining Sponsors: Sparks Spiritual, TriMediaOnline.com, and XCI Corporation; and Contributing Sponsors: Creative Animation, HH Architects and Mantel Teter Architects. A complete exhibitor list is available online.
The WFX Conference Program, finalized earlier this summer, includes the most respected experts and successful practitioners in worship facilities and church audio/video/lighting production. More than 45 sessions cover technical, project and team management challenges in both the facilities and technology areas, with a number of sessions designed to suit the perspective of executive level decision makers such as senior pastors, executive pastors and business administrators. Fellowship Church senior pastor and founder, inspirational author, and TV and radio show host, Ed Young, provides opening keynote for WFX 2006, and church futurist M. Rex Miller is the Friday Keynote Speaker. Session presenters represent acclaimed industry experts from across the nation.
A multi-faceted promotional program is underway and generating excellent early interest and registrations for the event. The program includes direct mail, email marketing, web promotions, and public relations outreach. Early registrants include church teams with specific projects and challenges for which they are seeking answers on the show floor and in trainings. More than 2,500 church facilities and technology decision makers will attend WFX in 2006.
“We are delighted by the remarkable interest in this revolutionary market expressed by our highly qualified exhibitors, presenters and attendees,” stated Nicole Derany, WFX Event Manager. “WFX exhibitor participation is surpassing growth milestones at a monumental rate and attendance is slated to double from the inaugural event. We are working fervently to accommodate this expansion and provide each and every exhibitor and attendee with the most personal experience at WFX.”
WFX, presented by Church Production Magazine, Worship Facilities magazine and Church Sound Magazine, is scheduled to take place in Hall C of the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, November 8-10 (exhibits run November 9-10). Companies signed-up to participate will have the chance to display their products and services to more than 2,500 church decision-makers from Texas and around the country who are building, renovating or expanding their facilities, and upgrading or enhancing their audio, video and lighting technology.
