WFX ‘06 On Track For Dramatic Growth In Size, Attendance & Quality

Framingham, Ma- June 14, 2006 - Worship Facilities Conference & Expo, the leading event for church facilities and technology teams, announced today that exhibitor participation in the second annual event has exceeded 170 companies five months before show-time, exceeding the total number of 2005 exhibitors by 20 percent (and contracted exhibit space by 50 percent). Based on comparable sales rates from the last event, exhibit space will more than double, selling out Hall C in the Dallas Convention Center.

Scheduled to take place November 9-10, 2006, the WFX expo floor is expected to host 200 exhibitors and more than 2,500 attendees (roughly doubling turnout vs. 2005). The conference program and expo floor will provide the latest products, information and how-to insights for building, renovating and expanding worship facilities and upgrading worship service with state-of-the-art audio, video and lighting technologies. Primary attendees include teams of decision makers from churches large and small, including senior pastors, business administrators, executive pastors, building committee members, facilities managers, technical directors and staff, media ministers, lay leaders, volunteers, and companies that consult and contract with churches on building and technical design and construction.

“The terrific growth of WFX stems from the high quality and quantity of attendees at WFX last year in Nashville,” stated Brian Blackmore, WFX Conference Chair and founding editor/publisher of both Worship Facilities and Church Production Magazines, event sponsors. “WFX is the only event of its kind--drawing teams of church decision-makers from the facilities, technical and senior strategic and administrative realms to plan, to find the latest products, to meet experts, to evaluate vendors and to enjoy themselves at an event that’s as much a fellowship and teambuilding experience as it is a marketplace and educational event. We are putting the finishing touches on a spectacular, inspiring program that will take the event to even higher levels in 2006.”
