CE Pro Expands to 50,000 Subscribers

Framingham, MA- October 10, 2006- EH Publishing, Inc. announced today a significant increase in 2007 circulation for its custom electronics (CE) trade publication, CE Pro. The magazine will raise its circulation from 35,000 in 2006 to 50,000 with the January 2007 issue as a response to the rapidly growing CE industry. With over 12 years in publication, CE Pro is the leading business-to-business magazine for CE industry professionals. Much of this success is due to an editorial staff of industry experts that are constantly adapting to the ever-changing custom electronics market.

CE Pro’s increased readership is a reflection of the incredible growth of the custom electronics industry in the past, as well as what the industry anticipates for the coming years. The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) reported an 11% growth in manufacturer to dealer sales from 2005 to 2006 and expect another 8% from 2006 to 2007 in its US Consumer Electronics Sales & Forecast July 2006 Edition. Similarly, in July 2006, Bill Ablondi, Director of Home Systems Research at Parks Associates, revealed, “The installing dealers channel is expanding, both in numbers of installers/integrators and in the sales each firm generates annually.” Increasing the circulation to 50,000 is a result of the CE industry growing in several areas: custom electronics professionals, electrical contractors, security dealers and value added resellers (VARs). The CE professional growth is organic, while electrical contractors and VARs are expanding the scope of their services to include custom low-voltage installation as a response to the market trends.

“There is clearly a trend toward individuals incorporating more and more electronics into their homes. EH Publishing, Inc. conducted focus groups with manufacturers and dealers this year to see their view of the industry growth.
